As a former teacher at Auburn H.S., I grew to know Bud as a friend and someone who always had time for people. His passing is certainly a loss for all who knew him. My condolences to his family.

I had Mr. Schweikl while attending Auburn High School and always considered him one of my favorite teachers. He required a lot from his students, but at the same time he gave a lot too. Teachers like him are far and few between.
My class had our 50th class reunion this past August and we extended an invitation to all of our past teachers. I was disappointed that Mr. Schweikl wasn't able to attend. It would have been fun talking about "old times"
My deepest sympathy to Mr. Schweikl's family.

Your teaching abilities were only surpassed by the great person you were. It was my privilage to be one of your many students at Auburn High School. They were good years. May God grant peace to those you leave behind.

Bruce,
Dads, grandpas and great grandpas, of such good quality, are not easily lost from this life. As I think back (way back) on you and your dad, I remember the admiration I had then. You have my deepest sympathy for your loss now.

Bruce, I was very sorry to hear about the loss of the dad. I remember him as being such a great supporter of Auburn athletics but especially of all of your involvement in sports. I am thinking of you during this time. Bruce

I played football at Auburn H.S. when "Bud" was coaching. I remember him as a coach and typing teacher at Auburn. I was glad he attended our 50th class reunion in August, 2005. We shared many enjoyable memories of our past.

It was my fortune to be a staff member with Bud at Auburn High School. I greatly appreciated his sense of humor. He told wonderful stories. We will miss him.

I knew Bud at Auburn High when I was teaching orchestra. He was the kindest, most easy going teacher and the kids loved and repected him, as did his fellow teachers.
He will be in hearts of his friends until we too are gone to another place.

My condolences to the family. I truly enjoyed my classes with Mr. Schweikl at Auburn High School. It was interesting to me that he began teaching at AHS when my Mom was a junior there! I wonder if he was one of her teachers too?
My prayers are with all of you that God's grace will give you strength and only wonderful memories when you think of him!

My sympathy goes out to the family of Bud. He was one of my favorite teachers when I attended Auburn High School. I later went to work for the Auburn School District and Bud was still one of my favorite teachers!!
