Richard Barnes died November 7, 2008 at his home in Kent, at the age of 69. He was born April 17, 1939 in Silver Creek, NY to Harmon and Winifred Barnes. He and Martha Cullen were married in Silver Creek June 30, 1960. Dick served in the Army and the Army Reserves. He retired from Boeing after 28 years. He was very active in the Black Diamond Gun Club and enjoyed leather crafts and hunting.
Surviving are his wife, Martha, of the home; son David Barnes of Kent, WA; daughter Lou Ann Duchemin of San Diego, CA; brothers Michael Barnes and William Barnes, both of Silver Creek, NY; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Per the families request no services will be held.
